Joyia Yorgey brings a solid background as a four-year standout at the Division III level to her first season as graduate manager for the Eagles' volleyball team. Yorgey played at Williams College in Massachusetts. where she helped lead the team to three straight elite eight NCAA Tournament appearances. As a middle blocker, Yorgey, averaged 3.4 kills and 1.2 blocks per game through a career in which she was named NESCAC Rookie of the Year in 2001 and Player of the Year in 2002 as well as being a three-time All-America selection. In addition, Young competed in track where she was the Div. III National Champion in the Heptathlon. She is married to Brent Yorgey and is currently pursuing a Master's in International Politics in the School of International Service.
