As a member of the 2004 National Champion BYU Cougars, Taylor Evans will add playing experience from the highest levels to the Eagles' coaching staff. Evans was an outside hitter for the Cougars from 2004-06. As a sophomore, BYU won the national championship. By senior year, Evans played in all 27 matches and started in 20. He totaled 207 kills, hit .268 and averaged 2.05 kills per game on the season. Evans graduated from BYU in 2006 with a degree in economics and is married to current Eagles volleyball assistant coach Lauren.
