WASHINGTON - A now 12-0 Navy team was a good wake-up call for us as it proved that the Patriot League will, once again, be a battle every game. When keeping the ball on the ground we definitely showed that we could play with the nationally ranked midshipmen - giving us confidence going in to a very important weekend.

We've had a chance to rest our tired legs this week and we're eager to get on the road for our first night game of the season at Holy Cross followed by an always exciting match-up with the Black Knights of Army. We'll look to those players who have traveled these distances and played on these pitches before for confidence.

When we keep the ball and play to feet we have been successful and we're confident that this will again be effective this weekend. We'll look to players like Tatiana to hold the ball for us up top and Gonzi and Donny to take people on. With our hardly penetrable defensive line on top of their game, as they have been all season, we can and should come out of this weekend with two BIG wins.

To my girls: don't ever lose sight of who you play for. There will be times when you can't remember but just look beside you and the answer is right there. Two wins this weekend and we're a different team. Nothing left to lose.
