Engel Selected as ECAC Division I Womens Soccer All-Star

Friederike Engel of the womens soccer team has been named an ECAC Division I Womens Soccer All-Star, the conference announced Wednesday. The junior defender was recognized as a Second Team All-Star selection. She was one of only two Patriot League womens soccer student-athletes to earn the honor.

Women's Soccer Falls 1-0 to Colgate in Double Overtime Heartbreaker in Patriot League Finals

Colgates Monica Jensen scored a sudden death, game-winning goal in double overtime of the Patriot League Championship Game to give the Raiders a 1-0 victory over American. The heartbreaking loss puts an end to the Eagles' season after coming so close to only their second ever conference title.

Womens Soccer Ready For This Weekend's Patriot League Tournament

After a successful regular season in which the American University womens soccer team finished with a 5-2 Patriot League record, the Eagles will challenge for the PL Tournament this weekend in Hamilton, N.Y. AU opens up on Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Bucknell with the winner moving onto Sundays PL Championship.
