WASHINGTON — The American University women's soccer team is looking for its first Patriot League win of the season against Boston U. on Saturday at historic Nickerson Field in Boston.

The Eagles were shut out in their past two games against Colgate (1-0) and Richmond (4-0). The Eagles are led by Yari Bradfield with two goals and four points.

In nine games this season, head coach Anabel Hering has used all three keepers with Morgan Lang playing in six games. Amy Krotine and Colleen Vivaldi each played in three games. As a unit, the keepers post a combined 2.57 goals against average.

The Terriers are still in search of their first win of the season and fell to 0-10 after losing to Bucknell, 2-0, to open league player last weekend. BU began the non-conference schedule against a pair of top-25 teams, No. 15 UConn and No. 18 Virginia Tech.

Through 10 games, the Terriers have only scored twice, with goals from McKenna Doyle and Dorrie Varley-Barrett. Hannah Ciolek and Bridget Conway have split time in goal and combine for a 2.10 goals against average. Ciolek has allowed 14 goals in six games.
