WASHINGTON — Monmouth's Miranda Konstantinides scored a pair of goals to give Monmouth a 4-0 win over American on Friday afternoon at Reeves Field.

Konstantinides scored her first goal in the 19th minute off a cross from Madie Gibson. The pass was directed in off Konstantinides knees as she darted towards the net.

Monmouth added three tallies in the second frame all coming in the final 25 minutes of action. Konstantinides added her second of the contest after a scramble in front of the net. The Hawks added their third goal in the 80th minute after Gibson's shot hit the post and Jessica Johnson recovered the loose ball to put MU ahead 3-0.

Alli DeLuca finished off the Monmouth offense with less than three minutes remaining in the contest. Jazlyn Moya was credited with the assist off the shot from 10 yards away.
