The American University women's soccer team is set to play its third game in less than a week to open the season. The Eagles are looking for their first win of the campaign on Thursday evening at local foe George Mason. The Patriots hold a 17-4-0 all-time lead over the Eagles. 

American dropped its last contest on Sunday afternoon to Campbell, 4-1.

In two games this season, the Eagles have gotten contributions from three different goal scorers (Sophomores Alex Taylor and Yari Bradfield and freshman Charly Slavick).

Freshman keeper Morgan Lang has played the most minutes through the early season in goal for AU. Sophomore Colleen Vivaldi has started both games and has four saves in 90 minutes. 

George Mason is coming off a win over Old Dominion in the season opener followed by a loss to Virginia last Sunday. Abbey Downey and Alex Myers scored both goals in the win against ODU.

In goal for Mason, Kristen Glad has made 19 saves in 180 minutes and posts a 1.50 goals against average.
