SCOUTING THE EAGLES
American has been led by a trio of underclassmen during the early part of the season, starting with freshman Emma Vinall's team-high seven goals, including a hat trick during her AU debut against Richmond. Sophomore Erica Skowron joins Vinall with seven points so far this season after scoring three goals and contributing a team-high three assists.

Freshman Peyton Smith (four goals, one assist) is third on the team for total points and is followed by senior Lexi Perez (four goals) and sophomore Izabella Jade (two goals, two assists) with four points each.

Junior goalkeeper Fiona Geier continues to lead AU in the cage after making her 300th career save last week against Central Michigan. She currently leads the Patriot League with 12.67 saves per game and ranks third with a .494 save percentage.

Vinall leads the team with 15 draw controls this season, averaging 5.0 per game to rank sixth in the league.
