Dyer Earns Third Rookie of the Week Honor in Field Hockey

WASHINGTON - Freshman defender Tatum Dyer was named the Patriot League Field Hockey Rookie of the week for the third time this season, the league announced on Monday.
Dyer received her third Rookie of the Week honor after playing all 70 minutes on defense in each of No. 20 American's contests over the weekend. She helped the Eagles to a 2-0 shutout victory over Colgate on Saturday, and went the whole way in a 3-1 loss to No. 2 Syracuse on Sunday. Dyer leads all Eagles in minutes played so far this season with 826.
The Eagles return to conference action on Saturday, Oct. 18 when they host Bucknell at 11 a.m. at Jacobs Field.
