Stafford H. 'Pop' Cassell Hall of Famer Stacey Siu-Butt Featured in Trinidad and Tobago Express

WASHINGTON - Stafford H. 'Pop' Cassell Hall of Fame member and former field hockey star Stacey Siu-Butt, '98, was featured in an article this past week in the Trinidad and Tobago Express. The article, written by Kern De Freitas, discusses Siu-Butt's reaction to being selected as a member of AU's 39th hall of fame class and also revisits her storied career.
"It's definitely an honour and a pleasure to be inducted into any hall of fame, regardless of what it is," Siu Butt revealed. "It really goes to show what can happen after all that hard work you put in, the blood, sweat and tears that you put in. I was so nervous because it's such a big occasion, something once in a lifetime."
