WASHINGTON - American University placed 15 student-athletes on the 2007 Patriot League Field Hockey Academic Honor Roll, as announced by conference officials on Wednesday. Seniors Ashley Foley and Maggie Hall headline the list, earning the honor for the fourth time. Juniors Irene Schickhardt and Katie Turner each were recognized by the conference for the third year in a row.
Foley was named to the PL Honor Roll in her senior year with a 3.46 in international studies, while Hall recorded a 3.80 in multimedia design and development. Schickhardt earned a 3.20 in international studies/economics, while Turner had a 3.80 in business administration to qualify for the list.
Carly Boyce (3.89, psychology), Rachel Carney (3.60, international relations), Anne-Meike De Wiljes (3.80, international studies), Kirstin Gebhart (3.70, international studies), Savannah Graybill (3.52, journalism), Denise Infante (3.51, health promotion), Alyssa Poorman (3.28, environmental studies), Jesika Pufnock (3.66, justice and public policy), Emily Stovicek (3.76, business administration), Anne van Erp (3.78, undecided) and Hannah Weitzman (3.32, visual media) round out the list of Eagles to earn PL Honor Roll accolades.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
