Erin Lindroth begins her second season as an assistant coach for the American University women's basketball program. Lindroth primarily works with the point guards and ball handling guards.

"Erin has an energetic and enthusiastic personality," commented AU Head Coach Matt Corkery at the time of Lindroth's hiring. "Her ability to connect with our players and potential recruits on a personal level is one of her biggest strengths and her experience as a collegiate point guard also adds to her credibility as a coach. We are very excited to have her on our coaching staff."

Prior to coming to AU, Lindroth spent four years at Daytona Beach State College as an assistant coach. Her responsibilities included practice and game preparation, academic tutoring and counseling, scouting, recruiting, uniform and travel gear maintenance and travel arrangements. Lindroth also served in a number of roles within the athletics department, including housing coordinator and fitness center specialist.

From 1999-2001, Lindroth was a full scholarship player at Wabash Valley Jr. Community College (Ill.), and went on to be a scholarship player and earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management from Martin Methodist College (Tenn.) in 2004. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was an Academic All-American.
