Emily Stallings enters her fourth season as an assistant coach at American University in 2016-17.

Prior to joining head coach Megan Gebbia’s staff, Stallings served as a graduate assistant at East Stroudsburg. Stallings aided in the development of the post players, in addition to helping with practice planning and recruiting. She also served as a head and assistant coach of the Newburgh Liberty AAU team.

As a women’s basketball student-athlete at Marist, she helped the team to four MAAC Championships and NCAA appearances, including back-to-back appearances in the second round during her final two seasons. Stallings was also a two-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection.

She graduated in 2012 with a degree in mathematics and secondary education, earning her master’s degree from East Stroudsburg in secondary education.
