@AU_WBasketball Places Full Squad on Patriot League Honor Roll

Group huddle vs. Ohio (12/29/2018)

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – All twelve members of the American University women's basketball team were selected to the 2019 Patriot League Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league office released on Monday.

This is the first time in program history that a full AU squad earned Patriot League Honor Roll selections in a single season.

To be eligible for the honor roll, the student-athlete must have a 3.20 GPA or higher during the spring semester.

Highlighting the squad of honorees was senior Cecily Carl, who capped off her thrilling career as the second consecutive Eagle to earn both Patriot League Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards in a single season. She is joined by classmate Elina Koskimies as the only two four-time honorees for AU.

Juniors TaeKenya Cleveland and Kaitlyn Marenyi both made their third honor roll while seniors Morgan Bartner and Kaitlyn Lewis appeared for the second time in their careers.

Six Eagles also made their honor roll debuts with sophomore Indeya Sanders and freshmen Taylor Brown, Maddie Doring, Jade Edwards, Emily Fisher, and Laura Graytok
