WASHINGTON - The No. 4-seed American University women's basketball team will host No. 5 Boston University at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 6, for the Patriot League Tournament Quarterfinal round.
Ticket prices for this game, set by the Patriot League, are $8 for adults and $4 for seniors and youth, and are on sale now via AUEagles.com\Tickets. Fans can also visit the Athletics Ticket Office in person, or call (202) 885-TIXX (8499) Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. AU students will be admitted free to this game with a valid AU ID.
The Eagles solidified their No. 4 seed on Saturday, Feb. 25, after a 66-59 victory over Loyola Maryland in Bender Arena. American was led by a 14-point effort off the bench from sophomore Cecily Carl, who went 4-for-4 from the perimeter and 5-of-7 from the field. Sophomore Elina Koskimies also put up a good night, hitting yet another near-perfect game from long range with 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
The Terriers clinched their No. 5 seed with a win over Holy Cross, 68-56. Junior Sophie Baudrey led the scoring for BU with 21 points, followed by a pair of double-figure efforts from senior Sarah Hope (15 points) and sophomore Payton Hauck (12 points).
With one game left in the regular season, American currently sits at 11-6 in the PL, Boston at 10-7.
