American (19-8, 12-4) fell to Army, 64-60, on Saturday afternoon in West Point, N.Y. but still clinched a home quarterfinal game in the 2014 Patriot League Tournament. Arron Zimmerman scored 20 points in the loss, going 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, and Alexis Dobbs chipped in 17 points with a game-high six rebounds and three assists. Shaquilla Curtis also posted six boards for the Eagles but the team was outrebounded 40-28 for the game. American shot 37.5 percent from the floor and went 7-of-17 from 3-point range.

Dobbs leads the Eagles with 13.0 points per game and ranks third in the Patriot League in free throw percentage (.866), fifth in 3-point field goal percentage (.400) and 10th in field goal percentage (.456). Zimmerman and Jen Dumiak have added 10.7 and 10.1 ppg, respectively, and Michelle Holmes leads the conference shooting 63.2 percent on the year while averaging 6.9 ppg. Sarah Kiely leads the team with 5.5 rebounds per game. Dobbs also ranks third in the league with 1.6 steals per game and fifth with 4.4 assists per game.

Navy (22-5, 14-2) claimed at least a share of the Patriot League Regular Season title with a 64-57 victory over Holy Cross on Saturday. Jade Geif led three double-digit scorers with 21 points and Alix Membreno scored 17 points with Audrey Bauer adding 15. Navy shot 46.3 percent from the floor and went 6-of-22 from beyond the arc in the win.

Both teams struggled from the floor when American and the Midshipmen met earlier this season, but Navy was able to hang on for the 48-44 win in Annapolis, Md. Dumiak led the Eagles with 14 points and nine rebounds and Holmes pulled down a game-high 10 boards as American held a 45-36 edge on the glass. Kara Pollinger scored a game-high 17 points for Navy, going 4-of-8 from 3-point range.
