No. 6 Mike Cannon Featured in the Centre Daily Times

WASHINGTON - American University wrestler Mike Cannon was featured by the Centre Daily Times this past week in an article titled "Cannon Fires His Way to the Top." In the feature written by John Huckaby, Cannon discusses his decision to attend AU and his goal of becoming a NCAA National Champion.
This season Cannon is ranked sixth in the nation at 165 lbs. and has an overall record of 22-2. At next week's Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Tournament, being held this year on the campus of Franklin and Marshall College March 8-9, Cannon will look to capture his first EIWA Championship before heading to the NCAA Championships.
"So Cannon looked for a coach that could do what his high school coaching staff couldn't do -- take him to the next level."
