He lost in the semifinals, 10-0, to Daton Fix of Titan Mercury WC and lost in the consolation semifinals to 3rd-seeded Frank Perilli, 5-0. Terao blanked Brent Fleetwood of the Bison WC, 10-0, to earn fifth.
He qualified for the World Team Trials, to be held in Rochester, Minn., in May.
