@AU_MSoccer Adds 14 Players to 2018-19 Roster

WASHINGTON — American University head men's soccer coach Todd West is pleased to welcome 14 incoming student-athletes, including three transfers, for the 2018 season.

"After a humbling and disappointing 2017 season, we are bringing in a deep and diverse recruiting class," said West.  "We have a strong mix of internationals, transfers, and quality recruits both locally as well as from across the country. We expect our sophomores and juniors, who gained tremendous experience last year to lead our program back into the hunt for a Patriot League Championship."

Matt Barresi - Played four seasons at St. Anthony's High School in Huntington, New York. Barresi won multiple awards with the Friars and was a two-time NSCHSAA champion.

Josiah Bostic - Comes to AU as a junior college transfer from Hill College in Texas. Played four years at Creekview High School in Carrollton, Texas, Bostic was a two-time first team all-district pick and second team all-district for the Mustangs.

Joey Faddoul -
Will have two seasons of eligibility after competing at Division III York College (Pa.). Faddoul scored two goals in nine career games for the Spartans.

Will Giannakouros
- Played club soccer at Math Fit Academy, Cedar Stars Academy and Philadelphia Union.

Patrick "PK" Kuczynski - Played three seasons at Fair Lawn High School in Fair Lawn, New Jersey … 2015-16 Big North Conference Champion … all-league honorable mention 2017 … played at club level for Arsenal Maximus FC from 2013-2017.

Ian Libnic - Spent time playing at Gulliver Preparatory Academy in Pinecrest, Florida.

Thomas Linquist
- Played four seasons at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. Spent time at various clubs around Chicago, including FC Chicago, Chicago Magic and FC United Academy.

William Manogue - Played at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland. Manogue was named captain his senior season after the team won the Maryland 4A State Championship in 2016.

Lucas Manso - Argentinian keeper who played at clubs including Levante UD, CE Manresa, CF Damm, and CE Manresa … most recently spent at CE Manresa, earning six clean sheets in 26 appearances

Fabio Massaro -
Junior transfer from Laredo Community College and Utah State Eastern College. Scored 12 career goals in junior college.

Malachy McGovern
- Played at Nower Hill High School in Middlesex, England and was a central midfield for Hendon FC Club. 

Tommy Rizzoli- Attended The Field School in Washington, D.C. Played a postgraduate season at the Bridgton Academy.

Viggo Sjöberg
- Played at Värmdö IF for 13 years, progressing from the youth team to the first team during his time with the club.

Michael Singgih - Sophomore transfer after a season at Ohio Wesleyan.
