WASHINGTON — The American University men's soccer team concludes the regular season on Saturday when it hosts Patriot League foe Army West Point at Reeves Field at 2 p.m.

American is coming off a 2-1 road win over Lafayette last Saturday.

The Eagles took an early lead in the third minute thanks to Nick Dimitrijevic's sixth goal of the season. He leads all PL rookies in scoring and is the first Eagle freshman to score more than five goals in over a decade. Dimitrijevic is tied for sixth in the league in goals and leads American in goals and points with 12.

Fellow rookie Andreas Djurhuus scored the game-winning goal in the 69th minute with an assist by Matt Gillis.

Rex Epps leads the Black Knights with 18 points on seven goals and four assists. Kennan O'Shea is second with five goals and 14 points. Justin Stoll has played in all 16 games for the Black Knights and has posted a 0.72 goals against average.

Prior to the contest, American University will honor its two graduating seniors Vinny Barone and Danny Kaiser.

Barone has played in 65 career games with the Eagles and has amassed 10 goals and two assists for 22 points. As a sophomore, Barone scored a career-best seven goals for 15 points. He will graduate with a degree in Health Promotions.

Kaiser has played in 68 career games with three goals, four assists and 10 points. He scored two of his three goals and added all four assists as a junior. He will graduate with a communications degree in audio productions.
