@AU_MSoccer Begins Homestand Against Navy on Wednesday

WASHINGTON — The American University men's soccer team welcomes Navy to Reeves Field on Wednesday afternoon. 

American is coming off a 2-1 loss at Bucknell last Saturday. The Eagles got on the board late in the contest off a Tim Neumann penalty kick in the 89th minute. 

Neumann leads the Eagles in all statistical categories with two goals, two assists and six points. Vinny Barone and Max Holdsworth are tied for second in goals and points. 

AU keeper John Mino has posted a 2.19 goals against average and a .611 save percentage.

Navy has also struggled in the early season, picking up two wins out of conference and enter the game with a 0-1-1 mark in the Patriot League. The Midshipmen are led by Daniel Zaremba with three goals and seven points. Mac Burke has started all 10 games and has posted a 1.40 goals against average.
