Men's Soccer Travels to Bucknell

WASHINGTON — The American University men's soccer team hits the road to Bucknell for its second Patriot League contest on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Following a 2-0 loss to Boston University last Saturday at home, the Eagles (1-7-1, 0-1-0 PL) look to earn their first conference win against the Bison (2-4-2, 0-1-0 PL). 

Vinny Barone continues to lead AU with 17 shots and Tim Neumann leads the team in points with four (1g, 2a). 

Keeper John Mino made a pair of saves against BU and has totaled 31 saves this season with a 2.24 goals against average. 

Bucknell fell to Farleigh Dickinson in a nonleague match on Wednesday, 3-2, in overtime. Bernie Wright and Nick King scored for the Bison, while keeper Emmett Witmer made his first start and finished with six saves.

The Bison dropped their PL opener to Lafayette, 1-0, and are winless in their last four. King leads the team in goals (3) and points (6). Ryan Ott has made seven starts and posted a 0.96 goals against average.
