WASHINGTON — Fans looking to get an early glimpse of the American University basketball teams will have two opportunities in the coming weeks.
Chalk Talk — Saturday, Oct. 20 - 10:30 a.m.
The seventh annual Chalk Talk event during All-American Weekend will look a bit different this season, as members of the men's and women's team, will pair up to compete in a skills competition to see who takes home bragging rights.
Fans will be able to interact with Coach Brennan and Coach Gebbia during a live Q&A session at the conclusion of the event.
Admission is free to this event.
Tipoff Dinner — Thursday, Nov. 1 - 6:30 p.m.
Join members of the American University men's and women's basketball teams and special guests on Nov. 1 at Mamma Lucia in Bethesda at the Basketball Tipoff Dinner. Host Dan Laing will sit with men's basketball head coach Mike Brennan and women's head coach Megan Gebbia to discuss the upcoming season.
Special guests on hand will also discuss the season and look back at the history of AU basketball.
Registration for this special event and program is $50. Admission includes reception, full dinner, and non-alcoholic drinks. A cash bar will be available.
Mamma Lucia is located at 4916 Elm Street, Bethesda, Md., near the Bethesda Metro.

Season Tickets — 2018-19 men's basketball season tickets are available today. Packages are priced as low as $56 and are only $224 for the best chairback seats along the sideline for all home games in Bender Arena.
All AU students are admitted free of charge to home basketball games with a valid AU ID.
