CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Five members of the American University men's basketball team were selected to the 2018 Patriot League Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league office released on Thursday.
To qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student must have earned a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester.
All five student-athletes are making their first appearance on the Academic Honor Roll. Junior Kevin Brown led the way for the Eagles while sophomores Mark Gasperini and Justin Perez were also selected. Freshmen Tyler McFarland and Nick Macarchuk both made their honor roll debuts after their first season with the team.
A total of 43 students made the Academic Honor Roll with Bucknell leading the way with eight honorees. American University, Colgate, Navy and Boston University followed with each school having five athletes selected. Loyola Maryland placed four members, followed by Army West Point (3), Lafayette (3), Lehigh (3), and Holy Cross (2).
