Laura Miller

Laura Miller is a 2004 and 2006 graduate of the School of Public Affairs, topping off her AU academic career with a Masters in Public Administration. Miller, a goalie, led the field hockey team to its first Patriot League Championship in addition to being named Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. Following working in the AU Athletics Department while getting her masters, Laura fueled her dedication for public, international service when she accepted a position with the United States Peace Corps. Miller is currently serving in Panama where she is a Community Economic Development Agent, dedicated to promoting economic vitality in rural regions of the country. Miller is currently working on a business development strategic plan to increase small business productivity. She lives in a small house in La Trinidad where she teaches English to 12 students as well as engaging them in various community projects.
