Matej Cresnik is a 2005 graduate of the Kogod School of Business with a degree in International Finance. Following playing four years on the Men's Basketball team, Cresnik followed his dream of playing professional basketball. Cresnik landed a contract in Paris, France where he played for one season. After his stint in France, he decided to pick up and move to Toronto, Canada where worked for a mid-size mutual fund company before receiving a 'job he couldn't refuse' with Deloitte & Touche. Cresnik works as an economic analyst in Deloitte's tax department as part of the transfer pricing group where he helps various Fortune 500 companies manage various pricing issues, mainly cross-border transactions. Cresnik spends his spare time participating in various firm sponsored charity events, and continues to play basketball regularly. Cresnik is also married to a fellow AU Athlete, Aleksandra Zerkalova, who played on the women's tennis team.
