Bridget Bowers returns to American University where she was a graduate assistant almost 10 years ago to help coach the Eagles in her first year as a full-time assistant. Bowers is a USATF-certified Level 1 coach and a certified personal trainers with almost twenty years of experience in cross country and track and field. A 1992 graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island, Bowers was a member of the Friar cross country and track and field teams all four years. In 1992, she was a scoring member of the cross country squad that placed second at the NCAA Championships. In addition, she earned All-New England honors in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. Bowers currently resides in Arlington, Va.
