The 2014-15 season will be Kerri Gallagher's fourth on Head Coach Matt Centrowitz's staff. Gallagher is largely responsible for the training of the women's team.
During the 2013-14 campaign, she helped develop the outdoor 4x800 meter relay team that broke a nine-year-old record at American. The team of Kelseagh Budris, Corina Velazco, Ali Tyburski and Julia Sullivan placed third at the Patriot League Championships and qualified for the ECAC Championships.
Gallagher was a four-year member of the cross country and track teams at Fordham University, where she served as team captain in her final two seasons. She set a school record in the indoor 800 meter run of 2:07.91 in her senior season, which still stands as the top time in program history. She also owns the second-fastest times in the Fordham track record books in the indoor 1,000 and outdoor 1,500.
In 2010, she won the 1,000 meter run and earned a runner-up finish in the mile at the 2010 Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship, also winning the 800 meter run at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship and setting a meet record in the event. She also placed second in the 1,000 meter run at the 2010 ECAC Indoor Championship. Gallagher also won two titles in the 1,000 meter run and the mile, setting Atlantic 10 meet records in both events, at the 2011 Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship. She went on to compete at the ECAC Indoor Championship, earning a runner-up result in the 800 meter run. Gallagher finished second in the 1,500 meter run at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship in her senior season. She concluded her career as a 2011 NCAA East Regional qualifier.
