Cross Country - Raced in three meets during the cross county season ... Crossed with a season's best in the 5000m at the DCXC Invitational, taking 12th overall in 16:26.10 ... His lone 8000m of the season came at the Leopard Invitational, where he was 21st in the field (26:29.0).

Indoor Track - Started the season with a pair of 800m competitions, hitting an indoor PR of 1:56.93 to take second at the Father Diamond meet ... Was third in the mile at the Terrapin Invitational (4:16.99) ... Closed the regular season at the Armory Track Invitational, taking ninth in the 1000m field with a final crossing of 2:29.18 ... Competed in three events during the Patriot League Championships, finishing third with the DMR squad (10:01.47), fifth with the 4x800m (7:35.05), and eighth as an individual in the mile with a new PR of 4:15.94.

Outdoor Track - Did not compete.

Indoor Track - Kicked off his AU career as a member of the first-place DMR squad at the Navy Invitational (10:18.91) ... Was third across the line in the 800 at the Terrapin Invitational, crossing in 1:57.03 ... Finished 13th overall at the Armory Track Invitational, timing through in 2:28.27 for 1000m ... Closed his season at the Patriot League Championships, taking third with the DMR squad (10:04.11) and fifth with the 4x800m (7:37.16).

Outdoor Track - Started the season as a member of the second-place 4x800m team at the Coach O Coastal Carolina Invitational (8:00.80) ... Was 13th in the 1500m at the Maryland Invitational ... Ran a 1500m PR at the Colonial Relays, finishing 35th overall in 4:00.85 ... Focused primarily on the 800m run during the final part of the season, hitting a top time of 1:53.29 to take 22nd at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier. 

 North Rockland HS - Purdy holds five school records at North Rockland and was the NYSPHSAA and Federation 1,000 meter champion, ranking third all-time in New York, top 25 in the nation and second in the U.S. in 2014 in the event. He qualified for the Milrose Games and ran at the cross country Federation Meet during his freshman and senior years. Purdy was a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished second at the NYSPHSAA and was named Journal News Scholar-Athlete and Athlete of the Year. Purdy earned varsity letters in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track, helping lead North Rockland to fifth in the state in cross country and league, county and sectional championships in indoor and outdoor track, the Triple-Triple Crown, in 2013 and 2014.
