Eagles Place 28 on PL Track & Field Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Led by Scholar-Athlete of the Year Brendan Johnson, American University placed 28 men and women on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for track and field, the league office announced Friday.

Johnson was voted the PL's top male scholar-athlete for the outdoor track and field season. He was one of 14 AU men who earned honor-roll status.
That list included three Eagles – Nate Edenfield, Liam May and Dakota Strode - who were among the 28 men league-wide who earned perfect 4.00 grade-point averages in the Spring 2016 semester.

Seniors Kelseagh Budris, Olivia DiBiasio and Anike Oladeji led the 14 AU women on the honor roll.

To be eligible for the Patriot League Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester and participate in one of the PL's spring championship sports.
