Haviland won the women's 200-yard butterfly in 2:08.97 on Saturday. Jolley went 4:38.07 to win the 400 individual medley, with her season-best mark moving her into 15th all-time at AU. Teammate Shannon Scovel was fourth in that event in 4:44.19.
Also this weekend, sophomore Scott Callander competed at the AT&T Winter Nationals, sponsored by U.S. Swimming. Callander went 49.42 to place 29th in the event, just off the 49.18 he posted to win the Patriot Invitational at George Mason.
Also at the ECAC Winter meet, freshman Garrett Sooter was second in the men's 1,650 in 16:21.28, posting a season-best and moving into 15th all-time at AU. Sooter later finished third in the men's 400 IM.
Senior Olivia Wons and Haviland finished second and third in the 100 fly, while Scovel had a season-best 18:07.25 to finish fourth in the women's 1,650.
Scovel, Haviland, Jolley and junior Shannon Exley went 3:38.85 in the women's 400 freestyle relay to finish fourth.
With only five Eagles competing on the women's side, American placed ninth in the team standings. Sooter, the only AU male to make the trip, gave the Eagles a 10th-place finish on the men's side.
Senior Caylee Watson will compete next week for her native U.S. Virgin Islands at the World Championships in Windsor, Ontario.
The remainder of the AU swimming and diving team will take a break for winter break and for finals before returning to competition in late December.
