Eagles Wrap Up Regular Season at Bucknell Invite

WASHINGTON – After four months of competition for the American University men's & women's teams, the final regular season meet of 2014-15 has arrived. The Eagles head to Lewisburg, Pa., to take part in Bison Invite on Saturday at Kinney Natatorium. The unscored meet is the final action before the Patriot League Championships, also held at Bucknell.

The Bison Invite begins at 10:30 a.m. and will consist of two sessions with a 30-minute break between them. Live results are also available for the meet.

American and host Bucknell will be joined by fellow Patriot League schools Lafayette, Loyola (Md.) and Navy (women only) in addition to Seton Hall, Shippensburg and Towson with Penn State sending a partial squad.

The Eagles recently competed at a quad meet hosted by Army along with Boston U., and George Mason last weekend.

Senior diver Melissa Parker led way for AU, winning the three-meter board event, also earning GEICO AU Student-Athlete of the Week accolades.

After the meet, the Eagles will have two and half weeks to train before the four-day 2015 Patriot League Championships beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
