Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month
Cecily Carl, Junior
“Cecily is an incredible student, who has worked tirelessly to complete her Bachelor's degree in three years. Cecily’s determination is seen in all she does, whether in the classroom or on the basketball court. She is a friend to many, a rock on her team, and an absolute joy to work with. Cecily has worked quietly towards her goals and dreams and I am so proud of all she has achieved over the past 3 years. She is going to do big things and I am beyond excited to celebrate her as this month’s female scholar-athlete.” – Ashley Rozendaal, Program Director
Male Scholar-Athlete of the Month
“Will has made extraordinary strides this semester in the way that he approaches his academics, and he has the grades to show it. It’s incredible to see just how much he has grown in the last several months. His determination and drive on the field and in the classroom are carefully balanced with his light-hearted nature that provides him the flexibility he needs to succeed. Nominating Will for February Scholar-Athlete of the Month was an easy choice. I am so proud of him and can’t wait to see what he will accomplish!” – Erin Saunders, Academic Support Counselor for Student-Athletes
