Breakfast in Bender, Bobblehead Day Highlight Sunday’s giveaways at men’s basketball’s nationally televised game
Enjoy Breakfast in Bender Sunday as the AU men's basketball team
Holy Cross in a nationally televised game on CBS College Sports at 12 Noon.
The AU Residence Hall Association (RHA) is sponsoring "Breakfast in Bender"
and will provide free donuts, bagels, fruit and orange juice, catered by
Booeymonger, while supplies last, starting at 11:15 am. Also prior to the
start of the game, free face and body painting and a sign making station
will be available for students in the Blue Crew corner to get their blue on!
Additionally, the first 1,000 fans to enter will receive a free new limited
edition collector series Clawed the Eagle Bobblehead courtesy of GEICO. As
always, admission to the game is free with your valid AU student ID.
Looking to extend their two game home win streak, the Eagles will rely on
seniors Stephen Lumpkins and Daniel Munoz in this conference match-up.
Lumpkins is fifth in scoring in the Patriot League, second in rebounding,
ninth in field goal percentage, third in blocks, second in offensive
rebounding and third in minutes played.
Meanwhile Munoz is fourth in assists, second in free throw percentage,
seventh in assist-to-turnover ratio and second in minutes played. Sophomore
John Schoof has also been an important contributor since he is one of the
most improved players in the Patriot League. He leads the conference in
three-pointers made, three-point percentage and minutes played.
Arrive early for the best seats behind the benches in front of the national
tv cameras...get some breakfast, and get your BLUE on. GO EAGLES!
